Lagostina pots look great with sandwich layers of copper on the bottom. Copper gives uniform heat distribution on the bottom of the pot even if the heat element. (Or oil) does not work perfectly. Copper layer is the best reason why some foods are more expensive sets. – But definitely worth it.
